Our Services

Consider us your cremation concierge.

When you work with Simply Cremation, your family can make one phone call and have everything taken care of.

Non-Ceremonial Cremation

A non-ceremonial cremation most commonly known as a direct cremation does not include any type of memorial service or life celebration ceremony. For many, this is an economical and affordable way to honor their loved one. After the cremation services, the cremated remains are placed in a plastic container or in an urn selected by the family.

Life Celebration Ceremonies

Commonly known as Memorial services, Life Celebration Ceremonies are becoming more common. What sets Life Celebration Ceremonies apart from funeral services is the level of personalization and tone. We find that the celebration of life ceremonies is more about remembering and honoring a loved one by sharing stories and memories. They are usually scheduled days to weeks after the death for the convenience or needs of the family. Planning a life celebration ceremony is really a process of asking and answering several questions such as, “Who will be invited?” “When and where will it take place?” “Who will officiate or conduct the ceremony?” “What decorations will you have?” “What beverages and food will you serve?” “Will there be music?” These are just a few questions that will need to be answered. Our professional arrangers are here to assist you and your family with any or all of these details.

Traditional Cremation Service

Although a viewing and/or funeral services are not an option at our location, we do have other options. Through the arrangements made at Simply Cremation, we can coordinate with our sister location, Thompson Funeral Chapel, or at a church for a final farewell of your loved one. There we can hold a traditional funeral service and/or a Life Celebration Ceremony. Traditional services can include public viewing, DVD tribute videos, readings, prayers, music, eulogies, and sharing of stories and memories by friends and family members. Cremation will follow the traditional cremation services.

Veteran Cremation Services

Veteran cremation services have many of the same components as a Traditional Cremation Service with a formal military ceremony. Eligibility will need to be determined in order to request military honors. The preferred method for verifying eligibility is the DD214. Military ceremonies include a flag presentation, playing of Taps, and if eligible, a rifle volley.
