Ruby Carol Campbell

Mrs. Ruby Carol Campbell, 78 of Surprise, Arizona passed away June 10, 2023, in Surprise, Arizona after a 12-year battle with cancer. She was born on April 14, 1945, to James Stewart, and Margaret Roseborough in Manhattan, New York.

Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting Ruby knew her by her big smile and welcoming spirit. While it may have taken her a bit to remember your name after your first meeting, it didn’t take away from the genuine love and care that she had for anyone she met. She was an amazing hostess and loved to cook for those she loved; she was famous for her lasagna.

She was a Pioneer student at her Kingdom Hall and found a passion in sharing her love for Jehovah with others. She was also a helper. She would help anyone and everyone even if she didn’t have it herself.

She is survived by her daughters, Kellie Campbell, and Margaret Hendley (Paige); Son-in-law, Tony Hendley; as well as her grandchildren, Jasmine, Mercedes “Alexus,” Erykah, Kayah, Jade, Yah-Shon, and Trey; as well as 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin “Blues” Campbell; her sisters, Linda Stewart, and Goldie Stewart; and her daughter, Robin Campbell.

A service will be held later this month at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness: 18175 West Happy Valley Road, Wittmann, Arizona 85361.
