Raymond Charles Dillman

Mr. Raymond Charles Dillman, age 8o, of Sun City, died peacefully on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at home with hospice.

He was born April 14, 1942, in Berlin, Wisconsin the son of Charles and Mae (Lind) Dillman.  Raymond attended Berlin high school. On October 8, 1960, he was united in marriage to Janice (Abel).

Raymond started his career as a farmer, he later purchased his own truck for Hershberger’s LP Gas Company in Westfield, Wisconsin. In 1977 he moved his family to Arizona where he retired from Deer Valley School District.

He spent a good portion of his life traveling the world, growing various plants and fruit trees. Enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing, he was well known for enjoying birds, The Grand Ole Opry and westerns. Most all of spending time with his family and friends playing cards or just visiting.

He is survived by his wife Janice Dillman. His four children Rick (Kathy) Dillman, randy (Judy) Dillman, Roxanne Milliron (Thomas Moore), Rochelle (frank) Steigerwald. His 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law jenny Dillman, 2 nieces, 3 nephews, and many cousins.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, in-laws Alvin (Caroline) Abel, sister Muriel Hoehne (Lee), and brother Gary Dillman.

Burial will be held at the columbarium at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sun City, Arizona at a later date to be determined.
