Terry K Marquardt

Terry K Marquardt, 62, of Peoria, IL, passed away Monday June 19, 2017 at his home in Surprise, AZ. He was born September 25, 1954 in Peoria, IL to Theodore and Glenna Marquardt. He is survived by his mother, Glenna Marquardt of Peoria, IL, his brother Tom (Linda) Marquardt of Mt. Sterling, MI, his brother Bill (Mary) Marquardt of Peoria, IL, his son Ryan (Kelly) Marquardt of Honolulu, HI, his daughters Jennifer (Luke) Atkins of Surprise, AZ, Kristen Whittles and Kari McMillan both of Peoria, IL and his former wife and friend Cindy Gibson of Surprise, AZ. He was grandfather to 9 grandchildren, Haley, Harper and unborn baby Marquardt, Corgan and Rylee Atkins, Ava Whittles, Kylie McMillan, Payton Marquardt and Olivia Power. He was preceded in death by his father.

Terry graduated from Peoria Central in 1974. He spent most of his life working in the construction and remodeling industry. His favorite job was being a grandpa and he was lovingly known as “Grandpa T”

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 4 to 6pm at the Creve Coeur Club, located at 456 Fulton Street Suite 186 in Peoria, IL.

Condolences can be sent to the family at www.simplycremationaz.com Arrangements for cremation are also under the direction of Simply Cremation in Surprise, AZ.

    You were always my best friend! You were there when I felt like no one else was. Your laughter rings in my ears. Ryan, Jenni, Kristen, myself, and our kids.. We lost a part of our family tree. No one ever pays attention to the dash between the birthday and day of death…. but the dash is what we need to focus on now. Because the dash is what I did in your life. I love and miss you daddy. Kylie, Payton and Olivia will always know who u r and what PaPa T did for them!!
