Jeannine was born to the union of Harold and Geraldine Cottrell who preceded her in death, and also an unborn child whom she named Kayla. She accepted Christ at an early age.
She graduated from Proviso East High School. She had various jobs throughout her life until her illness prevented her from working. Jeannine enjoyed romantic novels and movies.
Nean will be treasured and loved always. She leaves behind her cherished only child Marcus (Jennifer). Siblings Harold Jr., Kenneth, Joyce, Marvin, Lisa, David, and Brian. Her six beautiful grandchildren. And her adored dog, O.C.
