Franklin Richard Bogart

Our dear sister Gail lost her 82 year old husband Frank Bogart to heart failure on Saturday, November 19, 2016 in Phoenix, Arizona, one week after we buried our brother Bill. Frank was born on April 21, 1934 in Dayton, Ohio.

Gail and Frank married 50 years ago as of November 22, 2016. They met at the Dayton Airport on Gail’s first day of work at Avis on May 31, 1966. Frank was employed by TWA while Gail was a car rental agent and then manager. Frank retired from TWA before the company was taken over by American Airlines.

Frank is survived by his adored wife Gail and their two children, Doug (Gay) Bogart of Cary, North Carolina, and Lynnette (“Junior”) Bennett of Unicoi, Tennessee, and grandchildren Douglas (“DJ”) (Sarah) Bogart II, Lauren Heaton, Elisabeth Bennett, and Joseph Bennett.

Frank is also survived by five children from a previous marriage: Debra (“Debbie”) (Brian) Guillory, Cassandra (“Candy”) Bogart, Teresa (“Terri”) (Tom) Cook, Jacqueline (“Jacqui”) Bogart, and Bradley Bogart, and grandchildren April, Charity, Amy, James, Tawnya, Everett, Mike, Candace, Evan, Mallory, Harley, Paul, Jacob, Zachary, Cheyanne, Jennifer, Justin, and Jesse; as well as a sister Elizabeth (“Betty”) (Don) Miller in Meadowdale, Ohio and nieces Rhonda Stewart and Jeanne (Mike) Roberts.

Frank had been in great physical discomfort and emotional anguish for some time so his soul is now released from his earthly troubles. Frank requested cremation and that there be no service and no burial, but Gail welcomes cards sent to her home at: 9368 South 184th Drive, Goodyear, Arizona.
