Stephen Samuels

Stephen Charles Samuels was a native “Chicago Boy”, a die hard Bulls and Bears fan who loved his city.

Although he lost both his parents before he was grown and his only child while still an infant, he still managed to keep strong and look for the positive things in life.

Being raised by uncles and aunts, he considered his cousins to be sisters and brothers and to all their kids he was “Uncle Steve”. They all loved him dearly and he had a special bond with each of them. Kids were naturally drawn to his sincere nature and fun loving spirit.

Three years ago Stephen answered a distress call from family members that brought him to Arizona to care for an ailing auntie and offer support to her daughter and her three small children. As was the case, those children fell in love with him, and he stayed until his untimely death.

He leaves to cherish his memory. A host of cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends too numerous to mention, and the many children whose hearts he touched. We all miss you Stephen and you will live forever in our hearts.
